Lauren traveled to Chicago for the 4th of July weekend, 2005. The family of Doris DeAno, Arlene's aunt, held a 95th birthday celebration in Melrose Park for her. Lauren's Dad, Byron Hawkins, also traveled from New York for the long weekend and together they visited with Lauren's oldest sister Chris Schmidt and her family at their St. Charles home.
Here is a brief photo album of the weekend, along with some old photos, etc. duplicated from Chris' collection.
