Grant's Aubunique, the first Egg, poses with Aubrey on Oct. 31, 2002,
the day Aubrey turned 62 and two weeks after Egg turned 12. Egg's son,
Aubunique Hot Chocolate Egg, observes from behind Aubrey's left ear. Hawk
and Storm are behind Egg and Aubrey. Their mother, Sadie, sits at left.
Leaves
were falling from the tall Ambrosia plants and songbirds were taking seed
from the tops.
